Bellhaven, Coinjock and Norfolk, VA

5.9.21-5.11.21 Windy travel day from Oriental but mostly following seas to arrive at Dowry Creek Marina in the afternoon.  We used their car to drive the 5 miles to Belhaven where nothing was open on a Sunday.  We grilled a wonderful seafood dinner of shrimp, grouper and scallops from our travels in Wrightsville Beach and Oriental.  Enough energy left for 1 game of Dominos with Dave and Jeri.
5.10.21 Next morning we left by 7 as the weather was predicted to deteriorate.  Beat the rain and change in weather in Abermarle Sound.  At Coinjock we fueled up (as the big fuel hack just happened and we needed to make sure we could get fuel) and had the  famous prime rib dinner (again). 
5.11.21 Norfolk, VA.  Our last night with Dave & Jeri.  We walked the historic trail around Norfolk and ended up at the roof top bar Grain for a light dinner. Watched another awesome sunset and enjoyed one more competitive night of Mexican Train Dominoes.  Dave & Jeri were great guests and Jeri is now officially a first class crew, with new rope handling skills, locking procedures and general boat living skills.
