Cape Charles, MD

​5.13.21 After a tour around Newport News to see the aircraft carrriers under construction, we landed on the east side of the lower Chesapeake at Cape Charles.   This charming town had nice shops, a delicious distillery with great ambiance and good food for dinner at the Shanty, right at the marina.  The marina was very nice but very quiet as the season is not underway fully yet.
